Hunger & Homeless Awareness Benefit Concert ‘HUNGER & HOMELESS AWARENESS’ BENEFIT CONCERT FOR Pope John Paul Charity Center and Northern Berkshire Interfaith Action Initiative Friendship Center SET FOR NOV. 23, 2013, MCLA CHURCH STREET CENTER AUDITORIUM NORTH ADAMS, MA—MCLA Society of Music will host the second annual benefit event, “Hunger & Homeless Awareness Benefit Concert” at the MCLA Church Street Center Auditorium in North Adams, 7:00 – 9:30 pm, Nov.23, 2013. The event is being produced in cooperation with Masspirg & the Center for Development, Student Activities Council, and the MCLA Womens Center. The evening will feature a wide variety of performers, vocalists and musicians, including the nationally acclaimed acapella group the MCLA Allegrettos, locally renowned artists CJ Field, Sarah Elizabeth Raynor, and Jeb Barry. Additional performers include the MCLA Society of Music, Corey Sloane, Dave O’Neil & more. Performers include the following. The MCLA Allegrettos are an acapella group comprised of 30 plus MCLA students. C.J. Field is a local musician with roots in rock and country. Sarah Elizabeth Raynor is a newcomer to the Berkshire music scene, but has quickly become a regular to hotspots including Mission Bar & Tapas, and the Market of Pittsfield. Jeb Barry another local known for his work in the Americana group PAWN SHOP SAINTS. MCLA Church Street Auditorium, Porter Street & Church Street, North Adams MA.
