Hurricane Genevieve, which formed over the Eastern Pacific Ocean on July 25th, has spent the past 13 days traveling westward across the Eastern and Central Pacific Ocean (passing well south of Hawaii) and has now crossed the International Dateline into the Western Pacific Ocean. Genevieve is now classified as a Typhoon, and its a Super Typhoon at that, with maximum sustained winds of 130 knots (150 mph).
