Hurricane remnants to hit + some significant snow/blizzards across higher ground next week + possibility of some wintry showers (as suggested in our short and long range weather forecasts) @ exactaweather/UK_Long_Range_Forecast.html The remnants of hurricane Gonzalo are likely to spread across many parts of the country from Tuesday. This is likely to bring a period of exceptionally wet and windy weather, that could also bring wind speeds in excess of 70-80 MPH, in particular, in some parts to the north and west of the country. Cold air across parts of the far north will also allow for some potentially significant snow/blizzards across higher ground within this period, and there may also be the potential for some non significant wintry showers to bluster in across some lower levels than higher ground in parts of the north and west throughout Tuesday and into Wednesday. The latter part of next week and into the early part of next week could also bring another colder intrusion of air, and some further significant snow across higher ground in the north. There may also be the increasing risk for some wintry showers to push in across some lower levels than higher ground within this developing scenario too.
