Recently, the war cries on ethnic sentiment has taken its toll on social media. Those from Oro feel insulted,they feel their identity has been so belittled and ignored and are ready to fight to the dead,The Ibibio claim the majority position and rightly so. There exist an Ibibio proverb thats says; when those fighting are two,the one who separates makes it three. So what? Seeking for the plum job on grounds of ethnicity will only destroy us on the long run. Thinking and. Acting ethnic script only sicceeds in tearing The Akwa Ibom Project apart. It will only breed accusations and counter accusations. It breeds distrust and destroy coperation. It shows that we are not United. On tribal grounds,United States of America would never have Barak Obama as President. Civilized people do not think in terms of ethnicity. When we cry Oro,Ibibio or Annang,are we that different as we claim to be? Dont we inter-marry? Dont we have children with mixed blood of Oro/Ibibio,Oro/Annang,or Ibibio/Annang? Where do our children stand in this foolish war cry? Mummy is Annang,while Daddy is Ibibio,Daddy is Oro while mummy is Annang. What legacy are. Leaving for our children in this war cries on Ethnicity? This ethnic war cries is beyound what emotionally troubled minds can fanthom. It is not about Oron,its not about Ibibio,its not about Annang,its about our future,its about our children who know no barrier for their blood is already mixed,we should have called for this war before we inter-married. This war cry is TOO LATE. We are ALL ONE. When an Oro man curses me and say God punishe Ibibios,my heart drops because my children have Oro blood in them courtesy of their mother. When an Annang man rains down hell on the Ibibio,my heart bleeds for my Aunty got married to an Annang man and my mothers step-mother is an Annang man,thus my Uncles have Annang blood flowing in them. Do this war lords of ethnicity,consider our HALF-CAST? Do they know that this war is not as easy as they postulates? We have endangered species of Akwa ibomites in our midst if we continue to tread this unhealthy path of ethnicity. Ethnicity see no justification in anothers tribes actions. Ethnicity is as destructive as Religious Jihad war. There is no difference between the preachers of ethnicity and the practice of Boko-Haram. If we continue with this other gospel of ethnicity,then be sure to have an ungovernable Akwa Ibom in no distance future. In the course of my support of Akpabios uncommon transformation concept,Ive noticed and Annang man pure curses on all Ibibios and I wondered,does he know that Akpabio Ibibios also also as friends. That is the Irony and complete error of the Tripod school fo thought on ethnicity. In my own school of thought on the Tripod Ideology,we focus on USD,ESD and IKSD. This latter school of thought is the SOLUTION to the bad blood syndrome. In this school of thought,the senatorial district riegns supreme,not Tribalism. In this school of thought ORO,Ekid,Ibibio and the Obolos and seat on a round table discussion and draft developmental projects for their district with zero animosity. In this school of thought federal constituencies can seat and map out strategies for equitable tenure rotations. Is there no wise man amongst us who can arise and unite us again for a better future. Where are the lineage of our founding fathers? No doubt we have pains,no doubt we have lost friends,families and foes but should we destroy what a Fathers fought for just because we are not willing to sacrifice our AVERAGE THINKING MENTALITY. Awana-anwan ama-ado iba,amuom ayoho-ita Lets us GROW BEYOUND TRIBALISM. Poised to finding out the reason behind this ethnic war cries,a good Ibibio brother said every AVERAGE Akwa Ibomite is tribalistic and my response to him was GROW ABOVE AVERAGE. Refuse to be an Average Akwa Ibom son or daughter. Refuse to join the uninformed on the dangers of Tribalism to call for ethnic cleansing for that is the final destination of this foolishness. AKWA IBOM UNITE FOR WE ARE ALL ONE. At the end of the National conference,shouldnt we call for A State Conference,to dot our Is and cross our Ts on how we should. Leave above this average level of existing as a state. I therefore propose to our Ibibio elders,the annang frontiers,the oro union,the Ekid movement,the Onna gladiators,the obolo lords and all to seat and put this house together before things really Falls Apart. One day an Oro man will be governor,but he will be governor of us all not on grounds of ethnicity,one day our HALF-CAST choldren will be governors and Tribalism would long been dead and forgotten.
