North Carolina...New Battleground...Old Battles The ideologies have been around for decades, the battles used to be fought in Washington, DC...but not anymore. The American Legislative Exchange Council, or ALEC, has infiltrated the core of state governments nationwide with the sole purpose to further enrich the corporate coffers and already wealthy at the expense of the poor and downtrodden, elderly, women and children, all under the guise of their "good Christian morals" As I like to clean it up, male bovine excrement. Eric Byler and Annabel Park started this project in Virginia before the last election, and have done some marvelous work in documenting the crass and degrading results of the conservative actions in numerous locales. By the conservatives own admission, North Carolina is now their test bed for pushing their agenda of greed for the rest of the country. Plenty of documentary information, either to embarrass or enrage you, but doubtful that you can watch much without one of those two responses. ~ Dillon
