Hydrodynamics...simple yet powerful...as shown, sit on a towel and wrap around the top of the shoulder, using a strong hand contact, press the towel down compressing the connective tissue. Once you have a good compressive contact (key), drive your head in all directions searching for congestion, once identified, move very slowly within that zone. The viability and health of connective tissue are highly dependent on their vascular and lymphatic supply. This technique can help to facilitate flow to and away from the tissue complex by inducing a temporary tissue dehydration with resultant renewed hydration. The picture on the right is a picture from Dr. Jean-Claude Gumberteau, MD showing what lies beneath our skin...WATER WAYS... Keep your tissues hydrated! Sticky tissue hurts!
