The second states that after a person comes to Jesus he has to keep His salvation by doing good works. This person sees all the commandments in the Bible as a way to maintain salvation. The Biblical truth is that when we come to Jesus for salvation, Jesus, through the work of the Holy Spirit, changes us and we are spirit led to follow the commandants of the Bible, not because we maintain our salvation, but because we want to live to please Him. Yep, when we come to Jesus, change does happen because He does a work within us. Balance is key to living a holy life without legalism!
