Hypocrisy has found its meaning in our democracy today, its now no tidings that defection, misappropriation, terrorism, polls etc flood our mercury, making headlines on a daily basis. First of all, a parliamentarian of one platform can move conviniently without having to face any penalty statutory to the legislatures statute while another cannot. This is hyperhypocrisy. Corruption and impunity once more set in as billions of cash eludes from d very watch of those who should acct for it. But what happens? No probes, no punishment, immunity prevails. Yet, the voice of the the alarming missing fund is snoozed and muffled. Its stunning how a major public discoursion gradualy faints in the tin air and news propagators help pulverize and avert the attension of the avid minds from trendings. Lets not pretend about the fact that 20billions or 10.8billions is at stake here, whatever the sum is, billions are missing and someone somewhere needs to go to jail. Yes! Sanusi is being suspended, but missing funds still not recovered. We are now under the siege of brutality. Here pepetrators rules and victims increases on a daily basis. Most susceptible to this insurgence are the likes of Borno and Yobe states respectively whose peril is yet to be justified. Not forgeting Benue who suffer horrors of the normads on multiple count slays. Where is the transparency in our democracy, wen hypocrisy has become more habitual with our lawmakers? Where is the role of justice, wen retribution is sidelined, and impunity dislodges punishment? Where is the security of the citizens, wen victims of pepetrators have no stronghold? Where? Where is the boldness? The heroicness and the bravery of our leader, wen the power he wields cannot be exercised? Compatroits! Its true we pose like all is well, but there are questionable things we cannot ignore. Yes we smile, but our hearts cry. Its like walking dead. We have a voice, but there is no hearing, our opinions are deaden as there is no platform upon which our strong reasons can be manifested. Now the proposed national conference slated for dis month is knocking on the national gate where it is believed dat some persons are assembling on the table of brotherhood to discuss the disintegration of the country. Nigerians! Once more again i want u to avidly pay attension to the happenings, see how we will be once more, in a short while be diverted to a new discousion as the national conference rolls. Quite a few have i observe, but i know few many others u may be aware of and since ma fingers ache as i type, i wld want to recess. Ciao!
