I AM IN LAGOS NOW SAMPLING OPINIONS ON 2015 ELECTION. I observed that Lagosians love Fashola so much and are ready to retain Lagos for APC bcos of Fashola. So lagos na no go area. Many of them are even saying that they wld have loved Fashola to b picked as running mate for Buhari, if not for d Islamic status of Fashola. Well what I observed about dis is that, Lagosians are ready to promote their own to d federal level unlike d pull him down attitude of our pple in Ondo state..I wonder why my pple in Ondo state cant for once remember d adage that says no matter how wicked or stubborn ones child is, one does not chase him to d lion to b devoured... Another issue that came up for discussion was d issue of Buhari ticket. Out of about 15 of us that had dis discussion, only 5 pple supported Buhari ticket, d others said they cant support Buhari. Some of d reasons given were that; Buhari is too old for d job. They said they are still wondering how a man of 80yrs old will b able to govern dis clumsy country effectively. One of them said he has a grandfather who is about 80yrs at home and that he knows how his brain is working in reverse like that of a baby. He said he wonder why Nigerians will want to continue to recycle within their ex-leaders when we have many fresh brains. Another one said that, since Buhari is in d wanted list of Boko Haram, that we will only succeed in further annoying Boko Haram by voting for Buhari. Somebody even talked about Buhari religious fundamentalism and his secret affairs or link wit Saudi Arabia and concluded that Nigeria cant b safe in Buhari hands. We actually talked about many things, but I assume that our conclusion was that there are too many issues or controversies surrounding Buhari, thus he cant b d right option for us for now, especially that he is in d blacklist of our most dreaded enemy (Boko Haram).. Anyway, I am still lagos battling wit d usual traffic jam. I hate lagos no b small.
