I Am Shadows I felt the shadows gathering lining up and down the halls. Slipping neath the unlocked door and climbing up my walls. Finally I dimmed the lights and bid them all come in. I sat down in my easy chair to welcome my old friend. We talked of secrets we had shared and secrets we had kept. Dreams the shadows watched me dream at night time while I slept. We laughed and cried the night away we shared some memories too. But we never spoke of day light and we never spoke of you. Cause daylight drives out shadows to the point they cease to be. I feel the pain of shadows cause its what you did to me. So caught up in your glory how I loved to watch you shine. But enough was not enough you wanted all of mine.
