I Cant Sleep Well Because Of MH370... “Malaysia Airlines - TopicsExpress

I Cant Sleep Well Because Of MH370... “Malaysia Airlines deeply regrets that we have to assume beyond any reasonable doubt that MH370 has been lost and that none of those on board survived. As you will hear in the next hour from Malaysia’s prime minister, we must now accept all evidence suggests the plane went down in the southern Indian Ocean.” (Source: Financial Times) As I re-read the abovementioned news release, I cant help feeling increasingly disturbed by it. We are dealing with human lives here. Every one of them is somebodys parent, child, spouse, loved one or friend. He or she can be related to any one of us. With one announcement, they have closed the file. They have given up on the search. They are moving on and leaving valuable lives behind. The problem here is that there are no concrete evidence that MH370 has crashed and the passengers have died. There is not a single witness to testify without a shadow of doubt that the plane has gone down in the ocean. The decision of the Authorities is based purely on assumption and suggestion. I have been educated to believe that we should never rely on assertion, third-party information, and unfounded statement. From a moral perspective, we should never leave any of our fellow human behind in a crisis. Leaders should never leave any of their people alone. They can be counted upon to stand by and come back for their people. They will make every sacrifice to ensure survival and security of their people. If you know me, Im never known to be disrespectful to leaders and to speak negatively about any person. I cant help thinking the action of PM Najib and his team of so-called leaders are but that of cowards. They have shirked their duties and copped out in the heat of the battle. It is unfortunate but true they have lost their moral standing to rule and lead the people. No decent human can ever follow them without wondering if they and their loved ones will have to fend for themselves in times of crisis. Political masters cannot and should never let their people down in both good times and bad. I will pray for the people who are suffering from this tragic episode and send my deepest condolence and sympathy to them. Meanwhile, I will continue to pray for a miracle. I will continue to hope that the passengers will return back to us, alive and well. If theres even the slightest of chance, lets not give up on hope.
