I JUST SOLVED THIS PROBLEM. WHY HAVE OUR LAWMAKERS AND SCHOOL - TopicsExpress

I JUST SOLVED THIS PROBLEM. WHY HAVE OUR LAWMAKERS AND SCHOOL OFFICIALS FAILED? I hope I didnt come across as too bossy or overly opinionated about this topic. I just remember hearing about this same things happening at other public schools in recent years. And I sacrifice and spend so much time and care making sure that my daughter is able to have the public school experience, and that she is properly nourished during her school day. It is COMPLETELY SHOCKING TO ME that the common sense idea of SIMPLY CHECKING MEAL ACCOUNT STATUS AT THE TIME OF CHECKING ATTENDANCE IN THE MORNING has not be thought of and been made into a national policy. And those CAPS ARE FOR LAWMAKERS AND OTHER SCHOOL OFFICIALS AND POLICY MAKERS OUT THERE BECAUSE I HOPE SOMEONE IN A POSITION OF POWER TO CONSIDER MY IDEA MIGHT ONE DAY NOTICE IT. If a child is sent to school in only underwear and a t-shirt, the school would most certainly contact the gaurdians and emergency contacts on hand in the school records, and the childs guardian or gaurdians or next of kin would be forced to be held accountable for this neglect and the child would be sent home immediately. The child would not be forced to spend a school day wearing only underwear and a tshirt. The same idea goes for food. IF A CHILD ARRIVES AT SCHOOL AND THE GAURDIAN HAS NOT PROVIDED A MEAL FOR THE CHILD, THEN FIRST THING THAT MORNING THE CHILDS GAURDIANS MUST BE CONTACTED. There is an attendance policy. And when it is not satisfied, legal action and hearings take place, holding the parents accountable. This is for the safety and well being of the child. At the start of the day they just need to make this very simple. Are you present? If the answer is yes, then the next questions should be .... has the parent provided food for the child so that they do not starve at school today. IF THE PARENT IS NEGLECTING THE CHILD, TAKE ACTION FOOLS! Either help, send them home, tell them the law, give them options, tell them about assistance, and if the problem continues home visits and child services need involved. Period. It is unacceptable to send your child anywhere without food! 100% unacceptable. And if the schools finally handled this properly, then guess what, maybe a lot of people would stop making tons of babies that they clearly had no intention of taking care of, and those who are facing hardships that are beyond control, maybe they will finally feel like they are being treated like human being by having a public school system that kindly takes steps to unite them with assistance, charity, churches, home school options, and other forms of outreach. Man this issue just drives me up the wall. The solution is so simple. Why dont they just do it?
