I John 4:17 Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may boldness in the day of judgement: because as He is, so are we in this world. Beloved, the He in the above Scripture refers to Christ Jesus! You are the greatly beloved child of the Most High God, you are just like Jesus! You are a new creation in Christ! 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold all things have become new. How? Because we were were crucified with Christ, it is no longer us who live, but Christ (His Holy Spirit) lives in us and the life that we live today we live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved us and gave His life for us (Galatians 2:29). So this means exactly what it says in I John 4:17...because as He is, so are we in this world. Then you might ask why am I broke, or why am I sick, or whatever it is? The answer is this... We can only become like Jesus by beholding Him, by looking at Him instead of looking at ourselves, at our circumstances or at what we are faced with. There is no other way, look at 2 Corinthians 3:18 says, But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord. Did you get that? Transformed by looking at Jesus! The fulfillment of all of Gods promises are in Jesus! How do you look at Jesus? Whatever you are faced with, if it is a sickness, ask this question... Is Jesus sick? No! then neither am I sick! Because as He is, so am I in this world! If the devil comes to you and say youre broke you have to respond by saying Is Jesus broke? No! Then neither am I in this world! because as He is, so am I in this world. The devil wants to attack your identity in Christ, who you really are at the core, who you really are in the spirit. So again, why are we not walking in it? Because we think it is too simple. We dont believe that we can be transformed by looking at Jesus, we think that it is not practical. But look at what 1 Corinthians 1:27 says, God has chosen the simple things of the world to confound the mighty. Faith is looking to Jesus, the author and the finisher of our faith! Behold Him, so that the Holy Spirit has material to work with, there is nothing for the Holy Spirit to work with if we are always looking at ourselves. Stop looking at your problems, your challenges, your lack, your poverty, your sickness, your disease, or whatever it is...and just look at Jesus, just behold Him!! The truth will outlast the facts, the truth is this..As He is, so are you in this world! The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all! In Jesus Almighty Name! Amen!
