I Thank God for The Late, The Great Alma Brooks Ashton. She was my Grandmother ; She reared me, She taught me how to do many things including cooking, cleaning, work ethic, survival skills, how to be a Mother and Geandmother, but one of the most valuable lessons she taught me was treat everyone how I wanted to be treated. Her favorite saying was; its so nice to be nice. I apply that to my life every single day. Even when tragedy struck my life a few months ago with the loss of my son and grandmother, I still make a conscious decision to do at least 1 good deed a day, whether for a stranger or acquitance . I have an elderly neighbor, shes nice and nice to me and my children. I check on her off and on throughout the day. She called and ask me to do her a favor and of course i obliged. Youre welcome Mrs Fannie Mckenzie. It was my pleasure, Love ya !
