I WONDER…how can we parade around that we are helping, facilitating and accelerating development and resolving issues without actually living the problem & challenge we are trying to resolve? We live in a bubble and never get out of it, it is only when our bare feet touch the dirty floor, when we eat from the same plate and you immerse yourself, even for an hour, a day in the lives of the BOP that we can then truly realise the different reality that is out there. Balady, ghetto, local whatever you may call it. It is there that we can find pure genuine happiness, altruism, contentment & intensity of life that comes out of this environment that is where you will find solutions. For this hypocrisy which I am guilty of as well, we should really, if we really care, have humanisation experiences, is it really that hard? The rich, the poor at least in this country we live side by side, when did we become so removed from all of this and then we proclaim to help….we are doing it all wrong. I truly wish for us to be able to immerse ourselves, to have the courage and humility to experience the reality of our country #YY #socent #changemakers
