I WOULD LIKE to share an incredible experience i had yesterday, one i have never had before. i was showing Luis Anomaly Segura the dedication i did on fb. to my late mother yesterday. unfortunately, she and i were never close until the last two years of her life when we managed to turn it completely around. the post was a video of stevie wonder singing with luciano pavarotti. i explained to luis about how she did not like the music of my generation, yet i liked the music of hers. in the dedication i said that i wished she could be here to see this blending of one of my musical icons with one of hers. as he and i began to watch the video a thought jumped into my mind. wait a minute. we are all connected, so she is seeing and hearing this right now. i felt a wave of energy go through me that was quite delightful and i looked upward. i gave a thumbs up and said aloud, yeah, you can see it. as the song progressed i looked around , swearing i could feel her presence in the room. then it seemed as if i could sense her sitting beside me on the couch, for just one brief moment and then the feeling was gone. and in that brief moment i had a duo flash of memory. i saw my mother sitting beside me as we watched luciano singing live on stage. she was crying. at the same instant, i was in my bedroom in my teen years listening to stevie soothe my sorrows away. pavarotti gave me chills and stevie gave me comfort. even though i have watched this video many times, i felt tears welling up in my eyes...but not tears of loss...tears of joy that she is still with me.........here is the video.........youtube/watch?v=xoClSToRAxM
