I accidentally broke the screen on my portable DVD player. I indirectly knocked it off my bedside table a couple of weeks ago with the hose from my CPAP machine, but I didnt try watching it again until last night when I noticed that two-thirds of the screen wasnt displaying properly. I bought it for about $60 at Walmart 6 years ago, so it lived a long-ish life as far as cheap off-brand Walmart electronics go. I may get a new one eventually, Im pretty sure I can get an off-brand or refurbished one for below $40 at todays prices, though Ill probably use my fathers older Dell laptop without WiFi to play DVDs on in the interim.
