I admit: Im not wearing green on St. Patricks Day today; however, I can help you save some green. I dont usually like to promote corporate products or services but I have to make an exception for Time Warner. In November of 2013, Time Warner rolled out the lowest rate ever offered for any high-speed Internet plan. For their Lite plan, the old price was $34.99 monthly, but they lowered it to $14.99 a month with no contract. Im also saving more money by using a used Motorola Surfboard modem (model number: SB5101), which I purchased on Ebay for $20. Otherwise, Time Warner charges $6 a month to lease their modem. I also decided to not get cable television at my new apartment. I instead opted to use an over-the-air antenna to get the free digital local channels. Just think: more money saved at the end of the month, is more money you will have to spend on things you really want!
