I agree, why is it when the time comes to cut government spending be it federal. state, county, or city, that it is always senior care, public safety, garbage pick up, or letting dangerous criminals out of jail. Why not let the people that we elect to be good stewards of our money pay the price of their mishandling of tax money that we allow them to collect from us. What I see is a bunch of thieves and con artists taking retribution upon the voting taxpayers for not permitting them to steal more of their money to spend unwisely.
