I also use to think that the Sun,Moon and stars were only created - TopicsExpress

I also use to think that the Sun,Moon and stars were only created on the 4th day.... but with closer examination you will see that it is not quite like that. When Yahuah created the Shamayim (Heavens) and the Olam (Earth) the Olam/Earth it became a state of darkness, For what reason it was in darkness, no one can really say. Many have believed that between Genesis 1:1-2 there was a great period of time that could have been Billions of years...... or the Gap theory.... I do not want to get into this particular subject as this would take much time to go through and present when the purpose of this study is to show when a New Month begins as per Scripture......... However it is clear that the time between Genesis chapter one verses one and two were in darkness first......Yeshayahu/Isaiah 14:12-17 12 How are you fallen from the shamayim , O Heilel, son of the morning - ben shachar! How are you cut down to the ground, you who did weaken the nations! 13 For you have said in your lev, I will ascend into the shamayim, I will exalt my kesay above the cochavim of El: I will sit also upon the Mount of the Congregation, on the sides of the north 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like El - Elyon. 15 Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, to the sides of the pit. 16 They that see you shall ponder and stare at you, saying, is this is the man that made the earth to tremble, that shook malchutim; 17 That made the olam as a wilderness, and destroyed its cities; that did not open the bayit of his prisoners? S.a.tan made the earth into a wilderness, a place that was barren. Beresheeth/Genesis 1:2-5 2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Ruach of Elohim moved upon the face of the mayim (waters). It is clear that at this point the earth was without from and was void and was in darkness. 3 And Elohim said, Let there be Light: and light was. 4 And Elohim saw the Light, that it was tov (good): and Elohim divided the Light from the darkness. Yahuah never calls Darkness good, He had to divide light from the darkness He had to set light apart as pointed out above what darkness means, light however Yahuah called Tov or good. 5 And Elohim called the Light, Daytime (1) , and the darkness He called Night (2) And t he evening (2) and the morning (1) were Yom Echad . We also know that the Sun, Moon, Earth, Planets and Stars were created in Genesis 1:1, no one can argue that, the only thing to consider really is the time between the two verses as I have stated for the sake of time we will not go there right at this point in time. However I wish to point out that there was a period of darkness. The darkness described from the Hebrew is “choshek” Strongs Hebrew #2822 choshek kho-shek from H#2821; the dark; hence (literally) darkness; figuratively, misery, destruction, death, ignorance, sorrow, wickedness:--dark (-ness), night, obscurity. Strongs Hebrew #2821 chashak khaw-shak a primitive root; to be dark (as withholding light); transitively, to darken:--be black, be (make) dark, darken, cause darkness, be dim, hide. It seems to indicate by the Hebrew words used in these darkness passages, that Yahuah caused darkness to come about, this may have happened when He cast s.a.tan out of Heaven on to the earth who knows? One thing I can say is that the word used to describe the darkness that was upon the earth can mean the following: Misery Distraction Death Ignorance Sorrow Wickedness Obscurity And these come from the Strongs Hebrew #2821 chashak which has the following meanings: Withholding light To darken Make Dark Darken Cause Darkness Be Dim Hide So it is in my opinion that the Sun and the Moon were operating before Yahuah caused it to become dark and the use of the Hebrew words above indicate this and I would say that it was this point in time that s.a.tan was cast down to earth. This caused the lights to go out.....
