I always make sure I get home before sundown. But last night was the one night that I got home very late. Immediately I got off the matatu, it started raining really hard. It rained so hard I couldnt see where I was going. After being thorougly rained on, immediately I got home, the rain stopped. Those times you ask God, Really?? This morning I woke up to a crime scene. Armed thugs had attacked our compound and killed the guard. Come to think of it, probably the rain had hindered them from attacking just yet and they had to wait till it subsided. It could have been me. God has strange ways of protecting His children. So even when the rain pours and you cannot see where youre going, even when it seems like God is just picking on you, trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all of your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths. Grateful for the gift of life :)
