I am LIVID- $1600 out of Pocket for the Colonoscopy- All bills finally arrived- I advise you to not get one unless your absolutely sure thats the issue cause this is ridiculous!!! we paid hundreds a month for health insurance but most times we cant afford to go to the doctor anyway so whats the point. And if the Dr. Office has told me UPFRONT of all the costs No just what their doctor charges I would have not have done it- So if your going to a doctor and they say you need a colonoscopy and they they send you to their financial person who goes through the cost and tells you that they have to have a downpayment first and give you an estimated $500 cost (before your downpayment) ask them what the facility performing the Colonoscopy costs and what the Anesthisiologist costs too because they will also cost HUNDREDS!
