I am a Jew, I am an Israeli. (translated post for my friends abroad) I cant stand our dumb Jewish guilts and self criticism regarding our past as a Holocaust survivors. True enough, If I could take back time I might be a respectable member of the Jewish Community of Marrakech, or maybe a of poor Jew in Spain as both of my parents are Jewish migrated to Israel after WWII. It didnt happen, there was Antisemitism and there was the Holocaust. there was a pure racial persecution. they hated us for being Jews. they hated us back then, and if you can see the news today, they are still not among our fans for the same reasons. as a person who is living outside the bordars of Israel for more then three years I can say that as much as it is very convenient here I will never feel safe as I feel on Israeli soil. I will never feel at home nor safe physically out side the borders of my own country. the state of Israel. Human being is are territorial animals from birth, also there are exceptional, we all build fences to mark our territory in order to define our private family cell from our good or bad neighbour. this is who we are and this is what we are. In the end of a long journey we established the only Jewish state in the world, The State of Israel, the only state in which the Jew can live with out being hunted down only for being a Jew. A little country with a mustache, half a pin on the worlds map (an israeli song). the only jewish state I have and whichI will never let go of. The past was rough and we should always engrave it in our memories but it allowed us to establish this state and as a nation which serviced the Holocaust I am not willing to justify or becoming apologetic for protecting my only Jewish State. True enough, there is a measure of racism in connecting territory with race, I am not willing to be ashamed of it, the world brought us to our knees, haunted, beaten and hated. by the power of the UN we established this state so we can live here safe, just not to among others. so here is where we will stay. Our war for our homeland is the war of understanding just it. A deep understanding that the Jewish State will NEVER cease to exist on the sward of those who ask to annihilate it and we have to keep on reminding our self and the world over and over that we have no other place to live and that the right for a Jewish state was not given to us by our adventurous instinct of crossing the sea from York to New York but by being slaughtered disgusted and persecuted. Today when a Jewish Israeli claims on the media that the state of Israel is A state of all citizens I have only one thing to say: Israel was and will ever be The State of the Jews, The State of Israel.
