I am a house of cards: I believe my own lies; I deify my self. But when the wind blows Just a bit above what I can take I am blown to pieces. I am a house of cards: I present, on the surface, A well, organized structure. I leave a man in wonder, in awe. And I laugh-- for he never sees Beyond my design, My inner parts: i am the most Frail creature ever created. That with a mild gust, That with a touch of a finger, I find myself collapsing. I depend upon my creator To build me up again, though ironically, I tend to forget when I am built up again, That all I am is a house of cards. I cannot control the wind; I will be blown down again.
