I am a member of the American Cancer Society Hernando County Unit Board. I am a 17 year survivor of breast cancer, a 12 year survivor of cervical cancer. I had a 3cm tumor removed along with one of my adrenal glands at Shands Hospital in 2007. I FIGHTBACK along with ACS so my three daughters and 4 grand daughters will never have to deal with breast cancer. I FIGHTBACK so the rest of my family and friends will never have to deal with the horrible disease!! MY POINT: CANCER PREVENTION STUDY-3 By joining the study, you can help researchers better understand the genetic, environmental and lifestyle factors that cause or prevent cancer, which will ultimately save lives. The study is open to anyone who: *Is willing to make a long-term commitment to the study, which envolves completing periodic follow-up surveys at home *Is between 30 and 65 years old *Has never been diagnosed with cancer (not including basal or squamous cell skin cancer) To make an appointment to enroll, visit: cancer.org/cps3florida The appointments will be scheduled at Oak Hill Hospital Please do this for all your family and friends you have watched suffer from cancer.
