I am a trustee of Leigh Park Community Centre, Westbury, Wilts. I was the founding chairman of the original organising committee and community association committee and led the team who redesigned this centre and negotiated with planners and Persimmon Homes to deliver this superb community facility. I also found and organised the money needed to pay for the extra bits of the building that were not included in the original planning agreement with Persimmon. As the architect of the whole nursery and community centre project, I am still trying to get the proposed Leigh Park Day Nursery built on the site next door. We are very lucky to have a great centre manager who has organised this video.
