I am all for illegal immigrants becoming citizens of our nation, under the following guidelines; 1) All applications must be filed at the the U.S. Embassy in the Capital City of the applicants home nation, in person. 2) Applicants must forfeit any taxable property acquired in the U.S., prior to application, 3) Applicants are ineligible from receiving financial aid from any government agency during their lifetime, with the exception of SSI benefits accrued once resident status has been granted. 4) Applicant who have followed the current accepted and regulated immigration laws will be granted citizenship prior to any individual residing here illegally. My late wife was a Canadian citizen who followed the proper painstaking procedures. Granting criminals resident status or citizenship more expediently than those who willingly obey the law, will only insure that we acquire the most dreaded of all humanity, those cowards who flee their home nations because they are too timid to stand up to tyrannical regimes. The land of the free and the home of the brave should send them back home to face the reality of what they and there fore fathers allowed to happen. Otherwise we will continue our decline.
