I am amazed! I had a confrontation with a long time FB friend today, who often launches disagreements. I am fine with that and always have been but I have traditionally gone deeper into my point in discussion and often mirror back to this person in her own language... Which is often somewhat harsh. Today, she accused me of only wanting people to be yay about my postings and announced that she was unfriending me because I disagreed with her comment. You cannot go around disagreeing with people on their timelines and getting huffy because they are clear on their own point! Well, you can. Good luck with that. She had no room for different points of view. She offered no heart felt conversation or personal reach out. In fact, she never has. So, I am learning to more easily let this kind of thing go. I dont mind disagreements or challenges. I appreciate them. But if I am not allowed enough room to disagree on my own damn timeline, I can say good bye to that. I have a very public profile. I keep it that way even though I have been tempted to change that from time to time. I dont like blocking people. But I blocked her. I have no interest in that kind of aggression.
