I am an Indian, a Hindu but that has never stopped me from respecting ISLAM and Muslims. I have many VERY close Muslim friends and TRUST me religion or nationalities can never be a criteria for making or not making a friend. Rehan has been my very very good friend for nearly 20 years now. It has been a pleasure each time we met. Even recently I have had good friendship with other Pakistanis like Adnan Rao. I SAY THIS FROM MY HEART THAT WE ARE NOT ALL THAT DIFFERENT FRIENDS -- It is politicians who paint us as different to keep their agendas moving. It is governments on both sides who undertake deceptive tracks on both sides and make us believe it is INDIA doing it, PAKISTAN doing it, BANGLADESH doing it .... I have had excellent friends from all over and their religion OR nationality has NEVER had any bearing on them as persons. Debraj Dey
