I am an attorney as some of you may or may not know, but I am confused about a legal issue. How is it that a Circuit Judge can make a ruling that effects the entire state? Mary Mikva, daughter of that legendary Chicago hack and machine lackey, Abner Mikva ruled that the 2 binding proposals that Illinois voters were to vote on (Term-Limits and a change in how the various districts are drawn up) and and stated they were unconstitutional. This was strictly a wink and nod ruling. The troublesome thing about this ruling is that there was never an appeal filed of her absurd until Bruce Rauner decided to file an appeal. It makes one wonder why a guy running for Gov. has to file the appeal and not the people who were behind both of these measures.I wonder if these people were sincere about these much needed reforms or if this was simply another scam. chicago.cbslocal/2014/06/27/judge-no-to-term-limits-redistricting-measures/ With the Appellate Court in the Chicago area being more than likely close to 100% Democrat Party and the Democrat Party holding a 4-3 edge in the Illinois Supreme Court, you dont have to be to smart to realize that these people will follow Madigans lead and vote as they are supposed to. The people get screwed again.
