I am at the hospital with my son. Made it safe. Update on my son isnt very good. Talked to Dr an he is bleeding in his gut ( just how the Dr worded it ), he is on 3 Lt of oxygen, his platelets are very low, he should have 150,000 or more an he only has 10,000. He is bruising when touched, his heart rate is anywhere from 125 - 128, but has gone up to 133. The last ct scan showed lots of infection in his lungs. Not sure yet if thats the only place or not an not sure how they will treat it, but giving him antibiotics all along through his two ivs he has. They have been puzzled thus far on a few things there are 3 drs plus a heart Dr plus an internal medicine Dr all working on his case. Want to do an endoscopy through his throat to loom at his stomach but vitals need to come down first. His spleen is very enlarged. His fever stays at 102. His breathing is very fast but shallow. Has a hard time breathing but to be expected with the infection he has. His new shift nurse that just came in said he had a very bad night last night. Praying for a better night tonight. Has been in a lot of pain in his left side. They are calling Dr now to see if he can get something to help him sleep. Thank you for all your prayers.
