I am constantly incredulous and aghast by some Tsinoys uncontrollable sense of entitlement masked under the pretense of nakikiusap ,dagdag or baka pwede when paying for services in our industry. Its bad enough when one refuses to pay for what is fairly due even when you can afford it.But then to push and ask for even more is just plain abusive and insulting. Money should buy you the breeding,courtesy,respect and appreciation for artists services.If talent were an easy,everyday commodity then it wouldnt cost so much,would it?Sometimes I wish it werent us,the veterans, that take the brunt of this.There are so many here that will give you the raket mentality of pseudo services way below what they promised or what you paid for. Thats the big difference.Theyd more than gladly take your money while we would refuse it of only to be devoid of the possible abusive experience.For us,it isnt your money that will let us go the extra mile but only your kindness and respect. I know we Tsinoys,our lives revolve around money,money,money.But as they have said...it doesnt always buy character and class.Money isnt everything coz in our case, consideration is.
