I am currently a senior at an ROTC program, and have just been branched signal with a branch detail to the Infantry! (Infantry until Captain, then will switch over to Signal Corps). Anyways, I know the stigma of cadets/2LTs not being competent and overall, not qualified to lead their soldiers. I was wondering if you and the rest of USAWTFM nation had any tips/advice for me so that when I go through I-BOLC/Ranger School/my unit, that I would be able to lead effectively and be an overall good leader for them.
