I am flabbergasted by the arrant arrogance of the ruining party in Delta State,the peedeepee! It appears to be a done deal that any flagbearer of that party is assured victory at the polls.The variously rigged gubernatorial elections which led to successive court proceedings saw Chief Great Ogboru at a very close second which as we know was not good enough for him to be governor. Those who contested under the auspices of whatever party he represented also did very well against the Almighty Rigging Forces of the peedeepee. Many decamped to the peedeepee and fell to the machinations of the peedeepee to discredit a Goodman in the person of Ogboru. Deltans have been at the receiving end of the net and gross electoral malpractices of these evil forces who are against human development and structural development of the State. Akwa Ibom has a governor who has tried to remove the stigma of Ibomites being house maids and house boys of the nation and beyond. Who will remove the stigma that has been glued to our skins by the Usurper and his cohorts.We are beggars.Begging for crumbs from the very people we sold our prosperity and wealth to for peanuts.Traditional rulers beg,students beg,market women beg,professors beg,ex Generals beg,ex police officers are super beggars,sportsmen and women beg.How long can you continue to beg for what belongs to you? My people are regarded as akada riders - be they graduates or illiterates. You can behold the evidence of misrule in the State. A fact that came home when a magnificent stadium was commissioned in Akwa Ibom State.Which project has been commissioned by the Usurper? Maybe the absence of ex militants in Akwa Ibom is responsible for the feats Akpabio is performing there? We must sever the apron string that ties our destinies to evil manipulations of evil people ruining us.We cannot continue to mortgage our immediate future and the future of our children for lucre.Be wise. There is ONLY one MAN they have been scared to enthrone as Governor.The Man that does not believe in Godfatherism.That philosophy that has drained our resources meant for needed development into the accursed personal estates of those treacherous individuals. While the state is dotted with abandoned projects their personal estates have blossomed. Ogboru does not owe anybody kickbacks.But there comes a time when even the subjugated would rise up against their captors and oppressors. Now is the time to enthrone real democracy.Now is the time to enthrone progress.Now is the time to enthrone development unseen in the state. Now is the time to enthrone righteousness,forthrightness,integrity,honour,honesty,modesty,technocracy and morality.Dont let it pass us by this time around.I call on all those who were lured under duress,misinformation and treacherous bad-politicking to retrace their footprints and embrace the Peoples General. There is a Reason for a Season!
