I am forever torn between the comforts of hot water, air conditioning, a bed with freshly cleaned sheets out of the dryer; or the freedom of a cabin in the woods with nothing except a couple walls and a garden outside. The irony is that I miss the cabin in the woods but it costs more money to live with less. (Or maybe to live with more? The open space and the woods are a luxury that it seems like no one in norcal can really afford in the long run.)
