I am gay. I am 100% comfortable with this. Last week I had an encounter with a lady who spent a good hour and a half telling me that I was going to end up in hell for making this life decision. She cried, she prayed, she preached and I sat there and listened to it all. I could go on and on with the anti gay, anti parenting, anti science, anti anything but her beliefs. Ive never experienced anything like this in my life. I cant stop thinking about it. It bothers me to my core that someone thinks they have the right to just preach this way to me in a business meeting....at all actually. I also later have learned that she believes that god led me to her and I am crying out for help to be lead to a life that is acceptable in the lords eyes. Im not sure why but I cant shake this.....It takes me back to NJ high school and dealing with closed minded people. I have surrounded myself with amazing people ever since and I guess it just made me realize that there are still people in this world who dont accept everyone for who they are. It makes me fearful for those not as strong as I, who encounter people like this. #itgetsbetter
