I am getting behind this much needed and very awesome project.....If you can give a litttle and share this with your networks it woudl be apprecaited. Human Rights in Childbirth works with individuals and organizations around the world who are advancing women’s rights in childbirth at a local level. Also we create opportunities for collaboration at our conferences and other events. Our international network of lawyers and activists works towards strategic advocacy, and the development of Know-Your-Rights information, for distribution at the state or national level. With our network coordinators, we are developing education courses and materials to increase relevant knowledge among birth attendants, legal professionals, and consumers. Human Rights in Childbirth was formally established as a Dutch Stichting, or non-profit foundation, in 2013 (kvk number 58480609), and now has core team members working in both The Netherlands and Oregon in the US.
