I am giving up hope that I am going to hear from Donna tonight. But folks, we have to keep the fundraising machine going for Charlie. We took a little break over the weekend and I think we needed it, but that hospital bill is not going to pay itself, and now it looks like its only going to grow! For those of you who have nothing, this does NOT apply to you. Your prayers are plenty!!! Believe me! But for those of us who DO have the means, I beg you to do something to help this little guy if you havent done so already. As of the last report that we did get from Donna at the hospital, we had managed to raise $1505.00, and that got Charlies final hospital bill down to $382.08. This was as of his release on Saturday. Now that he has been readmitted, I think we can all see the handwriting on the wall here. That bill is going to go back up at a much faster rate than it was going to at the expected outpatient rate we were hoping for. The doctor told Cher he will be there at least three days on this stay. If you think you are getting frustrated with ME asking YOU for money.....put yourself in her shoes. If anyone hates this, I guarantee you, she does. Please, can we please just explode his fund so this can be over? Here is the donation information as before. Thankfully, that is still in place as before. Please make the call so we can get the money issue behind us. As of last count there were only 28 people who donated toward Charlies Angel Fund. Folks, since then, we have created TEAM CHARLIEs own Facebook Group, and 622 members have joined his team. Can he count on there being more than 28 donors the next time I make that call to get an update from Donna? If 300 of us gave just $15, that would result in $4500.00 for Charlie! If you are on a limited income, or have nothing, again, this is not directed at you. But, not all of us are in that situation. Some of us do work, or at least are in a good enough position that $15 is not going to put us out on the street. But it would sure make a huge impact on a very special little guy who has stolen the hearts of at least 622 people across this nation. The sooner we meet this goal, the sooner I shut my mouth. Think about how nice that will be for everyone!
