I am home!!! My surgery went very well this morning. My surgeon again told me, in the tissue he removed that was suspicious he believes that he removed all the small cancer cells but again to be sure that tissue has been sent to the pathologist for examination. I will find out the middle of this coming week, either Wednesday or Thursday what the pathologist finds. Of course, I am praying that the report will be clean but in case it is not a medi-port was put in today. I will most likely have a few rounds of chemotherapy in about 4 to 6 weeks to just make sure no stray cancer cell is lurking somewhere. Better to be safe than sorry. In the meantime, my doctor told me to go on as normal but to take it easy a few days while I am healing and that I could go out and about with my family and friends. Again, I am not having any pain at all, God has blessed me and with all of you praying for me made a huge difference. I could feel the power of all the prayers with me this morning as I was wheeled into the operating room and throughout this entire day. I cant thank all of you enough.
