I am humbled and honoured to have been elected as Labour Councillor for the Churchill Ward, City of Westminster. This is a huge responsibility and I, and my fellow Labour Councillors Jason Thomas Williams and Shamim Talukder, know we have a lot of work ahead of us. We must earn and deserve these votes. Change has come to Pimlico and we are that change. We will not let the community down. We are grateful for this chance, we thank everyone who voted for us and will earn the trust of those who did not. I personally would like to thank everyone who helped and supported our campaign (too many to mention). It is a great honour to be Westminster Councillor - this is my City, I grew up here, went to school and university here, my family and friends live here. Westminster is England, Westminster is Britain, Westminster is the capital of London, capital of the United Kingdom. I shall do my utmost best to be worthy of this honour. Custodi Civitatem Domine
