I am in discussions with the Sonic Boom owner coming out to the MR2 Trackday Challenge in 6 weeks time. It is coming along nicely but to have one of the most recognised MR2 Drifters come to Australia for the first time ever, I do need some help. If I can see 35 entrants he will be coming as I will put $1000 from the event to get him here but he will need help with access to the track so he need a lift (in a MR2 if possible) to the track. I can provide my car but I need an engine as my 2GR is still not ready (dont ask, its a painful tale..). so if someone has something available to get the car running, Kazumasa will be banging out some drift sessions at MTC 2015. Even if someone has a unregistered SW20 lying about, I can fit all my suspension so it will be a similar set up to his drift car back home. I can also provide race seats/harness etc. I can also help out with his accommodation at the track so if anyone would like to sponsor him with a drive, a night or two accommodation, bbq, a cruise to a club meet which is within a day or two of the event, it would help in having a fellow MR2 enthusiast having fond memories of his trip to Australia. As the ticket has not been booked, he can fly into Qld/NSW or Vic.
