I am in no way a proponent of a vegetarian-only diet, but alternative nutrition experts, paleo advocates, and self acclaimed bloggers should seriously wise up when suggesting a diet that is disproportionately high in fats and saturated fats. Just because processed vegetable oils (moderate to high olive oil consumption included) and grains are undoubtedly bad for us, does not mean that butter and coconut oil are super foods. That prerogative is simply replacing one form of processed food for another.
