I am in the [very] beginning stages of working a hypothesis that PRISM and its recent news is actually a massive PSYOP and cover-up for something much more devious and far more intrusive. As per my [working] hypothesis the NSA in conjunction with other Federal Law Enforcement agencies is actually working and monitoring top-tier data providers using a form of Layer 3 "Packet Sniffing" that would feed to the new data center much more then 10 or so large websites and their associated content but rather *EVERYTHING* that passes through the routers of these providers that literally control the Internet. I may be way off but then again with a degree from Oxford in Computer Science and a background in Information Security I can assure you that this methodology would be a lot easier and more scalable to pull off yielding ridiculously more fruitful results that would exponentially harvest more data than PRISM. What are your thoughts??
