I am looking for special homes for two fjord mares that I took in. These two girls were bought up in Fargo at an auction 3yrs ago as feral emaciated yearlings. One was roped roughly and deprived of oxygen for over 2 minutes and she MAY have brain damage. Their names are Elsa and Ana and they are approximately 4yrs old. They are up to date on shots and worming, Elsas feet can be trimmed by a patient farrier, Ana had to be drugged and we could still only get her front feet. Both have technically been trained by the Amish to drive by their previous owner, but Ana is still terrified of humans, so I cant even really get tack near her, but Elsa can drive and will be very easy to break. They are going up to a trainer in Detroit Lakes MN next week to hopefully be broke to ride. I will not let Ana go to anyone that does not have extensive experience with terrified horses, she prefers women and needs a gentle hand. I can explain more if someone is interested. They are located in Lakeville, MN at the moment.
