I am not a Raelian, but I call my self "A Raelian Follower" because I follow the Raelian Movement. I am also interested i what Rael has to teach. There have been many different UFO reports in the past 65 years or so. I think that most people who report these experiences are telling their truth. it is very brave for those people to do this. There is a lot a ridicule that one has to suffer when they talk about their experiences like this. The Universe in vast and over 13 billion years old and life on other worlds and in other galaxies may have evolved many billions of years before the birth of our own sun. The story about the Elohim to me is credible. There are other UFO contacts reported by many since 1947. There are people who channel beings that are further advanced scientifically then what we know here on Earth. There is the Pleiadians, a collective of multidimensional spirit beings from the Pleiades star system, and have been speaking through Barbara Marciniak since May of 1988. There is the Raja Yoga, Brahma Kumaris out of India. One of their top sisters channels a being called "Shiva", Shiva claims to be God, calls Himself the Father, Teacher and Sat Guru. I myself have had experiences which I have shared here on FB and what I tell other is this: You can believe or disbelieve others and their claims. You as an individual must check what is what for yourself. Those things you disbelieve teach you just as much about yourself as the things that you do believe.
