I am not being dramatic when I tell you all that I have not had more than a handful of nights of uninterrupted sleep since I was pregnant with Sam nearly 6 years ago. Do you know what happens to people when they are forced to go without a good nights rest? They become extremely cranky, short tempered, and generally unpleasant to be around. Now, think about those same people and multiply it by 6 YEARS and you would have me. Its not pretty friends--its not pretty at all. This mama is about to start paying for a hotel room one night/week just so I can guarantee that I will get at least one night of sleep without one or both of my children coming in and waking me up. Its a pretty radical step, but its one that Im seriously considering--yes, Im that kind of desperate right now.
