I am not good at portraits but I dont like to have over processing on the portraits in my opinion. I took this picture on a photo walk at Sabzi Mandi Lahore. I didnt check it for quite some time and then one day I opened it in Lightroom, did some exposure / lens correction and imported in Photoshop. I found some emotions in this picture, so to show them strongly, I had to crop the unnecessary area, so focus is right on the eyes of the subject. Used dodge, burn tool to highlight and dull few parts of the face. Used Nik Viveza to get details of the skin and then later used Nik Silver Efex Pro for B&W effect. Used Highpass filter for the extra sharpness.
