I am not sure I agree with the cooling prices assessment. Our core neighborhoods, including Back Bay, the South End and Beacon Hill continue to experience a very sparse inventory and solid bidding environment. The rise of inventory towards the end of the year was mainly in the new construction and luxury segments of the market. The more moderate price ranges continue to be challenging and frustrated buyers are plenty. I strongly believe that 2015 will be a strong upgrade year for many home owners, as the second half of 2014 was for many of my clients. A very robust selling market and historically low interest rates will convince many more that now is the time to sell and make a leap in order to get settled comfortably for years to come.
