I am one who rarely rants on here, but I need the outlet for once.... I have a great love for knowing & staying in contact with family....cousin, aunts, uncles, etc. Yet I have been born into a world where not only has my own family either shunned me or they think Im so bad that Im not worth the time, my husbands family evidently have some of these same feelings. Dont get me wrong, I have the greatest sister & mother in law (&also an aunt of his) I could ever hope for, but beyond that we are plagued with biased ideas by the rest of them. Try getting to know us, talk to us, even acknowledge our existence dammit! Our kids deserve to know their family & have the opportunity to have a relationship with them if they chose! Yes its their lose, but man it pisses me off!
