I am only making this public statement due a large amount of questions and concerns I am receiving in my inbox. I was recently diagnosed with stage 3a Breast Cancer. I have a team of excellent Doctors and a treatment plan has begun. I dont want anyone to feel sorry for me nor treat me any different as you did before .I am a fighter and I will survive this. I ask that my privacy be respected but I certainly will share as much as I can to those that would like for me to. I am truly blessed to have such wonderful friends and family that are here to support me especially my sister Wanda Cook, my best friends Jill Sullivan, Marcus Rodgers and Wiebke Hannigan ! And as always, Russ. You have been my rock these last several weeks and I am so very fortunate to have such caring people to laugh and cry with. I am also very thankful for all the prayers and thought from so many wonderful people ! And a special thank you hug to my cousin Charlotte Brown.The following weeks will be challenging but I am willful, strong and very determined ! I will be just fine. :)
